From 2009-2014, Timothy Lofton served as Senior Vice President for Morgan Stanley, a role that saw him maximize bottom-line performance, generate top revenue and profitability as a business leader and established him in the industry as a trusted and exemplary leader in client satisfaction. From 2003-2009, Tim served as Senior Vice President for UBS, showcasing his strong leadership skills in the role by providing high-quality service and management in both client-facing and non-facing roles. Under his leadership, Timothy helped UBS reach top 3% profitability and revenue in the nation across all channels. Prior to that, Timothy Lofton was a Partner at Edward Jones, playing a vital role in driving lucrative business operations such as training, mentoring, and managing a results-focused team. During his time there Tim developed, designed, and implemented a curriculum for new advisor training, and was recognized in the Top 1% in the nation for profitability and revenue among 10,000 offices.
Timothy is also a huge believer in the importance of physical fitness and the holistic understanding of one’s well-being including the physical, mental and spiritual. Timothy has completed multiple Ironman Triathlons, Marathons, and one 50 mile Ultramarathon. Timothy is a dedicated family man and, in the midst of a busy schedule, knows that a career should not cause one to sacrifice their family on the altar of success, but rather should be viewed as a way to enhance and improve the lives of their loved ones.
A Veteran of the United States Army Reserve, Timothy P. Lofton’s exceptional leadership skills were demonstrated in his day-to-day work, leading him to rapid promotion to the level of Captain. Notable achievements include, of course, his completion of Basic Training, but also AIT, Airborne School, his selection to attend the French Commando School within a soldier exchange program, and his completion of the National ROTC Assessment School. Tim was Commissioned as Officer and assumed command of an Infantry Unit, where he served for several years before his promotion to Captain. Timothy was recognized as Morehead State University’s first-ever student to receive a “5” ranking, a title given to the Top 1% of cadets nationwide.
Timothy Lofton is also a volunteer for annual medical mission trips to Ecuador.
A graduate of Morehead State University with a B.S. in Business and an emphasis in Economics, Marketing and Finance (and a Minor in Military Science), Timothy Lofton pursued further professional development at Wright State University and completed the Certified Financial Planner Curriculum (CFP) at the College of Financial Planning. He is also an Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®).
